[TURN 13]

Well, a little uneventful, isn't it? Don't worry, I've played up to Turn 15 today, boy that one's gonna take me a while to go through xD

[SPIKE] Talking

[PETRIE] Petrie worried...

Me worried, some1 founded religion and me now hope it not the one me researching...

[DUCKY] More neighbors...

Hi everyone!

Oh, it seems like somebody founded-ed a religion, yep yep yep! Actually, I like to found religions, yes I do, but it is hard to do at the beginning because there are so many other technologies you need for economy...

Oh, a new neighbor? I do not like having so many, oh no no no... She seems to be a faithful leader, maybe we will get along?

Oh, she is actually Spiky's neighbor, not mine! Spiky is starting at the water as well, I like that a lot, yep yep yep!
He also has quite a lot of food in his city, that is just what Spiky likes, hehehe.

[LITTLEFOOT] The first religion?

The first religion has been founded. I wonder who got it... was it one of us?

[TURN 12]

First thoughts about city names appearing. Any suggestions? xD

[RUBY] Oops Eeps

My scout got eaten, eaten it got :(

Did Petrie change his city name to 'this'? Well, I hate to mention it but his puny Level 1 city can't put up with London. Speaking of which... I think I should think about a name as well... hmm Hanging Rock maybe? It's where home is after all.

[SPIKE] Improving my scout's hunting skills ^^

Well, I guess that means more food for my people ^^ I didn't get hurt luckily and may now promote my scout. Hmm, let me see...
Survivalist seems to be good in deserts and tundra.
Guerilla is good when standing on hills.
Woodsman is good when walking through forests.
And Sentry gives me better sight.
Decided to get the bonus defense on hills. There are quite a few on this map so it shouldn't be too bad an option ^^ Sentry is nice as well but it doesn't help you in animal fights and, let's be honest, I want the food from them ^^
Walking on, I discovered Ducky's land. Geez, we're really close. Hardly one city can fit between.

[PETRIE] Me have great name for city!

Me like new city name!

[DUCKY] Spike is really close

Hi hi hi :)

This scout survived-ed, yes it did! I will allow it to heal first.

Oh, there is Spike!

He is really close to me, he is...

[CERA] About time to get the economy going!

The land is only as good as the player... the best land is no use without workers to make it better! Now that I have my stuff protected, I can focus on that for a while.

[LITTLEFOOT] Pondering about city names

Hiya! I was just thinking about possible names for my first city..

Well, my first idea was "Great Valley" but it's more like Chomper's island (just without sharpteeth, thankfully). I'm not really sure what to name my cities after. Kinda feel like naming them after people I know and who mean something to me but ehh... I'm not so sure.

[TURN 11]

Well, you enjoyed what I did last turn? :P

In this turn, we see Littlefoot realising that he may be even more screwed than he already is and, of course, more diplomacy! The animals should also start to become a real annoyance by now. Due to the small distances between the players, the human barbarians won't be as dangerous as on larger maps but they'll be an even bigger hindrance to our favourite dinosaurs eventually (though I think they won't appear before turn 30 or so...)

Anyway, for this turn, I've prepared something as well. The turn after the talk will always be the one I'll show some statistics. Since there's not much to compare yet, it'll be short for the time being but that'll change... eventually :P

So, here you go (I'll show the demographics of every player, forgot to capture it several times while playing xD Later on, I'll also make a graph out of these... )

LITTLEFOOT
 CERA
 DUCKY
 PETRIE
 SPIKE
 CHOMPER
 RUBY
 ALI

GNP = The amount of Money, Science, Culture and Espionage a player makes per turn
Mfg. Goods {Prod.} = The amount of all production in a player's cities.
Crop Yield {Food} = The amount of food a players has in all cities.
Soldiers = Military strength (some buildings and technologies also add to that)
Land area = The amount of territory a players holds right now (1 tile = 1000)
Population = Population :P Each pop level counts differently into this but, generally speaking, bigger levels give more population exponentially
Approval Rate (not very important) = Compares the ratio of happy and unhappy citizens (unhappyness in a city if the latter number is higher, so below 50%]
Life Expectancy = same as above, just with health (also not very important)
Exports/Imports = states whether a player is importing or exporting via trade and how much (rather irrelevant to know)

You can make comparisons if you like, I won't do it just now because you really can't read much out of them just yet. As soon as I have 3 or 4 of these, it'll be worth creating graphs to make these visually appealing :)

Now, another thing I'd like to show you, is the graph of the scores.

I'm noting the score of all dinosaurs each turn (before doing anything with Littlefoot)
 Graph of this.
And a different graph. I kinda wish I could fill in the spaces with colour. Loved that feature back in Age of Empires where there was a graph like this of the world population :P

As for how the score in the game is determined (in case you don't know), there are 4 different areas that a player can earn score in.

1. Population: the exact points per population level is different for every map, depending on the potential capacity of the map to produce food (ehh, you don't need to remember that :P) I've already figured out its 2 points per population here though there may be times where it reaches 1 or 3 due to rounding. (You can see this very well in the graph. Ruby started on a higher pop level than the others so she got 2 additional points :) )

2. Technology: Each technology that is researched gives a set amount of score which depends on the era it is attributed to (4 points for ancient era technologies, 8 for classic era and I think +4 for every era that follows...). You can see this very well when you look at Petrie, who started with an additional technology, so he started with 4 additional points.

3. Area within culture: Every tile you hold for 20 consecutive turns gives 1 point (I think). It doesn't appear in here yet because we haven't reached turn 20 yet :P

4. Wonders: Wonders give a certain number of points as a reward for constructing them. Everybody has some wonder points already because the palace that's automatically constructed in the first city (making it the capital) counts as such :)

Well, that's it for now ^^

[ALI] Time to conquer the seas!

Hello :)

I finally finished the work boat! Now I have two sea resources and I have to decide...

First, the Clam.

Second, the shrimp. The latter would give me more food because of it being on the ocean while the clam would give me more commerce. I think the food is more important and, besides, the improvement of the shrimp is a little better...

There you go :)

Now it's time to start scouting the surrounding area. I'll probably start with one scout for the time being because I will also need another work boat and a worker sooner or later...

That's it for now, see you later :)

[RUBY] Lions are bad, bad they are..

Hello my friends, my friends hello!

Unfortunately, my first scout is already in danger of being dinner...

Lions can move almost as fast as a Fastrunner can...

[CHOMPER] Ultimatum

I think this goes without saying... she better comes to a decision soon so I can plan accordingly...

[SPIKE] Time to find Ducky! ^^

Well, I guess that alliance is sealed now ^^

I'm going to try to walk towards Ducky with my scout so to know what's going on around her in case she needs help. She's got some great traits to defend herself with though so I'm not too worried ^^

[DUCKY] Spike and Chomper

Hello everyone! How are you, I am great, yep, yep, yep!

Spiky and I are going to work together, yep, yep, yep! So Chomper cannot just attack me because now I have a good back-up, yep, yep, yep!

I will keep this one here so I can keep an eye on El Cid. I need to know what he is up to because I think I should try to cut him off, yep, yep, yep!

[Yes, that's a good plan there, Ducky ;)]

This scout is going to try to hunt the animal for food. It can not attack but can be attacked so I stayed-ed on the hill where my defense is best, yes I did!

[Ducky, shouldn't you talk to Chomper again?]

Oh, yes! I should! Thank you for reminding me!

I do not know what to do about Chomper at the moment. Right now, I already have somebody to work together with but I must not mention that towards Chomper before he knows Spiky as well...

[LITTLEFOOT] Uhh, crap...

Well, guys, this will be uncomfortable for me...

[sorry, I messed up and forgot to switch the language to english :P]

So, I found a neighbor crucially close to my land. If he sets his first city to the north, this will be my doom, guys... Considering that he's expansive and, probably, has a better start than I do, he'll get his first settler before I do...
This is like... the only really good spot for a great city. If he takes it, all I can do is build masses of troops and take that city with force, completely ignoring my science. I really hope it doesn't come to that ...
